Precision Optics Manufacturing

Our advanced optical engineering techniques and state-of-the-art equipment make Landmark Engineering your go-to source for precision optics. This equipment includes:

  • Milling machine for creating complex shapes and fine details on optical components
  • Diamond curve shaping and polishing machine for spherical curve shaping and final turning
  • Grinding machine to shape and finish optical components 
  • Centering and edge grinding machine to center and edge the optics to the required diameter and center

Opto-Mechanical Assembly

With our combined machining facility equipped with both conventional and CNC machines, we can produce precision-machined parts, from simple components to complex opto-mechanical assemblies. We have developed and installed custom optical alignment equipment, such as ball alignment and wedge angle alignment, to ensure proper alignment of optical and machined parts. Additionally, we conduct quality checks at every stage of production to guarantee a defect-free final product.

Customized parts

If you have already developed a system or built some parts and need to manufacture the remaining components or even a fully custom system, we can turn your design into a complete engineered product. If it meets your requirements, we can also produce it in high volumes. Our expertise includes manufacturing optical parts such as spherical and aspherical lenses, prisms, filters, reticles, polarizers, corner cubes, beam splitters, and band optics and mirrors. We also provide thin-film optical coatings, including single-layer and multilayer films, wide-band and narrow-band coatings, and custom designs.
